The Latinx Research Center (LRC) hosts academic research groups focused on research and writing that meet regularly to collaborate and support each other’s work.
Working groups might read works together, share work in progress, provide feedback, and generally are intended to foster a supportive, interdisciplinary environment. By emphasizing collective learning and mentorship, the LRC working groups cultivate an intellectual community while advancing both individual and possibly collaborative research projects related to Latinx studies in the U.S. and beyond.
The LRC provides meeting space and can provide up to $300 to a limited number of groups to cover the purchase of books, meeting materials, and refreshments.
If you are interested in forming an LRC working group for the Academic Year 2026-2027, please fill out the form below.
